[ARCHIVED] Purple Heart Sundown Ceremony Thursday in Pahrump

The community is invited to attend the annual Purple Heart Sundown Ceremony to honor the courageous men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

πŸ“… Date: Thursday, August 7th  

πŸ•• Time: 6:00 p.m.  

πŸ“ Location: Pahrump Veterans Memorial at Chief Tecopa Cemetery, Address: 751 East Street, Pahrump

πŸŽ–οΈ The ceremony will be emceed by US Air Force Veteran and former County Commissioner Frank Carbone, with proclamations presented by US Army Veteran and County Commissioner Bruce Jabbour on behalf of Nye County and the Town of Pahrump.  πŸ“œ Assemblyman Gregory Hafen will also present a proclamation from the State of Nevada.

This heartfelt event commemorates Purple Heart Day, officially recognized by the Nye County Board of Commissioners during their July 15th meeting. Let us gather in gratitude and remembrance for those who have given so much for our freedom.
