Public Records Requests
General Public Records Request
In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 239 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, all requests for public records will be responded to no later than the fifth business day after they are received. This function is under the Public Communications Department.
HOW TO REQUEST PUBLIC RECORDS
(NOTE: Nye County Sheriff's Office and the various courts handle their own records requests. See below for further details)
Public Records Requests should be submitted in one of the following ways:

Once the Public Records Request has been received, the Public Records team will get it routed to the appropriate department within Nye County for a response.
