Licensing Department

Overview

The Licensing Department administers certain permits and Privilege Licenses pursuant to Nye County Code Title 5. Licenses include Liquor, Gaming, and Brothel, Special Event Permits, and Outdoor Festival Licenses.

  • Privilege License Renewals – Liquor, Gaming, and Brothel license renewal payments can be made in person, drop-off through the mail slot outside of our offices, or by mail. We accept cash, check, or money orders. Please make checks payable to Nye County Licensing Department.
  • New Privilege License Applications – New license applications are accepted by drop-off or mail. License Application Complete Packet
  • Premise or Business Modification Application - This form is for existing licensees that wish to change their license type, business name, or licensed location. Premise or Business Modification Application (PDF)
  • Outdoor Festival Licenses - Required for outdoor events anywhere in Nye County with an attendance of 1,000 or more persons on any one day of the event.  Outdoor Festival Licensing Packet (PDF)
  • Special Event Permits - Also known as a 72-Hour Liquor Permit. Please complete the application via our OpenGov application portal and attach all necessary permits and local approvals.  Special Event Permit Application (Click Here)
