Nye County has launched a COVID-19 Vaccine Information and Resources page that includes a fillable Vaccine Interest Form for the public interested in receiving the vaccine when it becomes more widely available.

The Nye County Department of Emergency Management is working with the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public and Behavioral Health, and Immunize Nevada to distribute COVID-19 vaccines throughout the County as they become available. The County and the State are identifying facilities that can properly stock, administer, and maintain COVID-19 vaccine and meet additional federal and state requirements. The County is working with State Health Officials on on the limited weekly allocations.

NOTE: The availability of the vaccine to the general public is contingent on the amount of vaccines received from the federal government through the state, which has been limited. The timeframe for vaccine availability for the general public is not known at this time.
